“Blue Fantasy” is a detailed online masterclass dedicated to creating a light, expressive felted silk scarf using the nuno felting technique.
 
In this workshop, I guide you step by step through the entire process — from material preparation and prefelt layout to attaching the design to silk and final felting.
The focus is on precision, softness of texture, and a calm, thoughtful approach to working with wool and silk.
 
The workshop is suitable for intermediate makers and confident beginners who already have basic experience with felting and want to deepen their skills.

What you will learn

Materials required
Please prepare the following materials before starting the workshop:
• 300–400 g of merino wool, 19 micron
(in several shades of blue or your preferred colour palette)
• Decorative fibres (optional, for texture and shine):
silk fibres, viscose, wool fibres, or similar
• Silk fabric — approximately 220 × 90 cm
(I use Margilan silk)
• Polyethylene bubble wrap — large enough to cover your working table
• Synthetic netting — large piece, suitable for the full layout
• Scissors
• Warm water
• Soap 
• Towels (to absorb excess water)
• Vibrating sander (highly recommended)
