Materials required
Please prepare the following materials before starting the workshop:
• 300 g of merino wool, 19 micron
(in several shades of blue or your preferred colour palette)
• Decorative fibres (optional, for texture and shine):
silk fibres, viscose, wool fibres, or similar
• Approx. 2.5–3 meters of Margilan silk
(various pieces, different sizes and shades)
• Polyethylene bubble wrap — large enough to cover your working table
• Synthetic netting — large piece, suitable for the full layout
• Scissors
• Warm water
• Soap
• Towels (to absorb excess water)
• Vibrating sander (highly recommended)
